Time for Some Cocoa!

Happy Columbus Day to Americans and Happy Thanksgiving to our Canadian friends! Sorry I'm a bit late with getting this up on the blog, but it's been a pretty hectic couple of days for me. I've been fighting a horrible headache after falling, but I'm fine.

When I woke up this morning, the fall air has truly hit New England and the first thing I thought was "Hot Cocoa!"

When I saw this tutorial for a hot cocoa packet holder on Suzanne Dean's blog, Scrap Bitz, I knew I wanted to make it. Today seems like the perfect day and I think the Hearty Thanksgiving stamp from Belles N' Whistles is perfect for this project! You can see the instructions here. I'd love to see you give this a try! You can use it for all kinds of things! So tell me, what's your favorite Hot Cocoa? Me, I'm a Swiss Miss Instant with tiny marshmallows!

I colored these cuties with copics and added some Stickles and Diamond Glaze to the pumpkins and flowers. I also added some raffia along the bottom with a button with Scrapper's Floss through it. The Prima flowers on the top are set upon some silk leaves.

Aren't their faces just the sweetest things? I could color them up all day!

Here's a side view of the holder.

This is the top. I added a BasicGrey magnet to keep the container closed.

Hope you enjoy making this and remember to post your project in our new Gallery!

Card Ingredients:

Hearty Thanksgiving by Belles N' Whistles, Prima Flowers, Stickles, Diamond Glaze, Scrapper's Floss, BasicGrey magnets, raffia, button
