Allie's, I Mean, Pati's Kisses for the Digi Bells

When I saw this adorable digi from Elisabeth Bell's Digital Collection, I knew I had to have her!  She reminds me so much of my granddaughter, Allie.  Her mom has been winning her some stuffed animals out of a machine that she has at her work.  When she bring them home, Allie holds them up and acts like each one of them is the best present she's ever received!  It's my day to post over at The Digi Bells Design Team Blog and this cutie kept coming to my mind.

I colored her with Copics and added a little bit of stickles to her hair tie, bear and shirt.  She also has some Diamond glaze on her headband.  The papers are some older paper from Daisy D papers, the green card stock is from DCWV and the gems are from Cloud 9.  The layout is from the Deconstructed Sketch.  I'm entering her in their challenge.

I  just love her sweet self!

Here's a peek at the inside.

Dare To Be Sassy Thursday at Sassy Studio Designs

Time for another Dare To Be Sassy Thursday for Sassy Studio Designs!  The ever talented Kathy asked us to use stitching (real or faux) on our projects.  Well, I went with the faux since I've had a horrible tooth ache and I used a character that knows a little bit about needles!

Don't you just love a good fairy tale?  I sure do!  One of my favorites is Sleeping Beauty.  Those three fairies are some of my favorite characters, but my favorite villainess has to be Maleficient!  She's just pure evil and full of herself.   I love what Lindsay's done with all of the wicked ladies from all these tales. I always hated her for having princess Aurora prick her finger on a spinning wheel since I love to sew so much!

For the challenge, I chose Maleficient Sassy, which you can find here, and colored her with copics.  I added some Stickles to her dress, glittered candy dots and some silver stars to the corners and a bow with some ribbon from my stash.  The papers are from Memory Makers (I thing) and the Kraft card stock is from Stampin Up.  I used my white Jelly Roller pen to add the stitches.

Isn't she wickedly gorgeous?

Here's a peek from the sides.

I just added a plain box for a sentiment or note to the inside.

I think she's stunning!

I am entering this hottie in the following challenges:

Crafting By Designs - anything goes
Creative Moments - shades of blue
Inky Impressions Challenge - favorite color combination (Mine is blue/brown/white or cream)
Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge - anything goes
Stamp n' Doodle - anything goes

So head on over to our Sassy Studio Designs blog and show us your stitches!

Let's Hear It For The Boys for Elphine House Australia

It's time for another challenge over at the Elphine House Australia Design Team Blog!  Hope you enjoyed our last challenge and we've got a fabulously fun one this time.  Our theme is "Let's Hear It for the Boys!"  This was great fun for me because I don't do many boy cards and I had a blast!  I used Tommy Tell Tail of Ice Cream and you can find him at Elphine House Australia's shop!

Isn't he too cute?!  There's nothing like seeing a cutie pie kid eating ice cream!  Some of my favorite pictures of the girls when they were little was of them with ice cream.  Elisabeth Bell captures the essence of childhood like no one else, if you ask me!

He's colored with copics in really bright primary colors and I added some Diamond Glaze to his icecream cone.  I added some of my favorite papers from Basic Grey and cut out some butterflies with my Martha Stewart punch.  The buttons have some Scrapper's Floss in them and I added some mesh behind the background.  The swirl clip and baubles are from my stash.  And I couldn't resist adding some Stickles to the butterfly.

I was going to add the clip where the red butterfly is by this cutie pop, but Allie stuck it on when I went to stir her noodles!  Here's a peek of the inside.

Here's a view of the inside.  I thought a butterfly would be a nice touch!

I absolutely love him!  I did resist adding on any flowers to him and I think that says a lot for me!
