Tuesday Throwdown Challenge Sponsored by Robyn's Fetish

Sorry I've not been posting this past week.  My baby girl, Nichole, and her husband and my baby granddaughter Lainie Loo were here for Memorial Day weekend and we had such a great time!  I love spending time with my family.  Nothing in the world is as soothing for my soul and relaxing for me.  Here's a couple of pictures of the babies swimming:

This is Allie and you can't keep her out of the water!

Here's Lainie Loo and she's a water baby for sure!  I know I'm biased but I think they're just so precious and beautiful!

The other reason I've been absent is I've had a horrible tooth ache and haven't been able to think straight!  I finally had to have it pulled late last week and I've been trying to catch up on some rest that I totally missed out on.  But back to the issue at hand!  It's Tuesday and that means it's time for a new challenge over at Tuesday Throwdown!  This week we're being sponsored by Robyn's Fetish and our theme is "Embossed".  They've graciously offered the design team some free images to have some fun with and I chose Loretta Angel.  I think she's just precious!

She's colored with copics and I used stickles on her wings, heart, legs and bows.  The papers are from a gorgeous Kathy Davis pad called Journey and I embossed the papers with a foliage cuttlebug folder.  The gems are from Studio G and the flowers are hand made.  I used my Martha Stewart punch for the branches and my SU ticket punch for the corners.  The lace is from my stash.

Here's a closer look so you can see the embossing,  Aren't these papers just gorgeous?  She's a little bit old school with the ticket punch corners but I kind of miss that simple technique at times.

I think she's just so sweet and look at that face!

I'm entering her in the following challenges:

Create Challenge - color challenge
Cards Galore - Sketch

Make sure to stop over at Tuesday Throwdown and see the other fabulous creations my designing sisters have in store for you!  They're all so talented and I'm so lucky to be designibng with them!  So come on and get your embossing on!
