Ragamuffin Mer Baby

Mermaids are so magical and enchanting to me.  I love to collect mermaid stamps and  color them up in so many different ways.  You can do just about anything in the world with them.  I love to color them in colors that you would find under the sea.  Sherri Baldy from Sherri Baldy Stamps has some just adorable and sexy mermaids at Scrapbook Stamp Society.  Here's Ragamuffin Mer Baby:

Isn't she beautiful?  She's colored with my copics and has Stickles all over her skirt and fins and Glossy Accents on her eyes, lips and top.  I used Baubles because they reminded me of bubbles and the papers are from Pocketful of Posies from DCWV.  The ribbon is from my stash.

Gosh, I love her sweet face!

Here's a peek of the inside from each side.

And here's the inside.

I love all of her designs and will be back with some more!  Head on over to Scrapbook Stamp Society and see the fabulously fun and versatile images Sherri has.  You'll be so amazed!

It's going to be a great Friday over at our Paper Craft Planet Sassy Studio Designs Paper Craft Planet Group!  I can't wait to share this weeks Fabulous Freebie Friday with you!  Think mean.  Think evil.  Think on gorgeous woman who can pull you into her world and you are powerless to stop her. Lindsay has created a beautiful woman that we should all be very afraid of!  Meet the Evil Sorceress!

Isn't she just glorious?    Here's a closer view.

I am entering her in the Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge and here's the sketch they had:

She's colored with Spectrum Noir markers and I used some Stickles on her globe, headdress, sleeves, and the bottom of her dress.  My Spellbinder die cut is edged with Distressed inks the Floral Florishes are from my new Spellbinders set that I just love!  The papers are from a great K&Company Halloween pack from Brenda Walton.  The ribbon and gems are from my stash.

You know how I like to tease you with a peek on the insides!

Here's a closer look at her gorgeous face.

I love this spider creeping down the paper on the inside!

I've had the best time this week watching some old Disney fairy tales and Harry Potter movies!  I've got to watch some Walking Dead for a couple of cards I've got in the works.  Now make sure that you go over to our Paper Craft Planet group and pick up this deliciously gorgeous Evil Sorceress and show us how you see her!

Also, make sure to invite your friends to join our group over there because Lindsay has a terribly fabulous treat for us once we hit 800 members!  We're so close and I don't know about you, but I'm always up for a free image, especially a very sexy image just for us!  I promise you won't be disappointed!

Here's the NIGHT project I made...

Isn't she just gorgeous?  This is Little  Honey's Mummy by Sassy Studio Designs and I think she's perfect for a night walker!  I used her and made a small envelope that is perfect for a gift card, party invitation, or some small treats for someone.

I love her face!  She's colored with Spectrum Noir markers and has Stickles on her wrap and Glossy Accents on her lips.  The paper is from Immortal Love from DCWV and the flowers are from Recollections.  The bakers twine and gems are from my stash.

I've tried to show her from the sides so you can see the dimensions of the envelope.  I attached her to the top flap and instead of using something like velcro to magnets to keep the envelope shut, I used the bakers twine.

I used a piece of cardstock to hide the side and bottom seam.  I just love this glittery dark paper and how it just shines!

Make sure to stop by our Pause Dream Enjoy Challenge blog and see what my oh so talented Design Team buddies have in store for you.  They never disappoint!  And play along and show us your night!

Sherri Baldy Sweetie Needs A Name

I've been taken with the artwork of Sherri Baldy and absolutely adore her whimsical and sweet images.   I love how you can look at her images and just see that each image has their own story behind them.  You'll be seeing more of her work here from me!  You can find her images at Scrapbook Stamp Society.

Today I want to share the cutest image but this cutie needs a name!

She's colored with copics and has Stickles on her flower, around the top of her hat, petticoat, ears and a touch on her bear.  Glossy accents is on her collar, ribbon and on the bears tongue.  She's cut out with my spellbinders and I used my new Floral Flourish and the paper is from a DCWV calender pack.

The lace and pearls are from my stash.

Here's a close up of her sweet little face.  Adorable, isn't she?

I added a flourish to the inside and inked around the edges of the paper in Antique Linen distressed inks.

We can't let this cutie go too much longer with out a name!  Head over the Sherri Baldy Art and leave her a suggestion.  You could win this baby for free!  Enjoy!

Cocoa's Latte from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps for Tuesday Throwdown

One of my favorite things is coffee!  Love it, must have it every day!  Want to make me happy?  Just get me a coffee mug.  Nichole's husband banned me for bringing another coffee mug into the house.  We literally were running out of space in the cabinets!

It's time for another Tuesday Throwdown Challenge!  Our sponsor over at Tuesday Throwdown this challenge is Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps and they have some of the sweetest stamps!  Our ever so talented Helen challenged us to create something using this picture as inspiration:

Here's my take on this photo:

I love Cocoa's Latte!  A latte is one of my favorites, but I'd sell my soul for a cappicino any time!  I love this cup and this little cutie poking her head around from the back.  Cocoa is colored with copics and Spectrum Noir markers and I added some stickles to his ears, the cup band and gave my hot cup some steam rising.  The papers are from K&Company and the pearls are from Studio 112.  I used my spellbinders Parisian motif for the circle and my new Floral Florish in the corner.  The ribbon is form Recollections.

Here's a side view.

I touched her little nose with a tiny bit of Glossy Accents.  Isn't she just the most precious thing?  You can see the distressed ink I used around the edges better close up.

This is another florish from the Spellbinders set.  I think they're so pretty.

Make sure to stop over at the Tuesday Throwdown Challenge blog and see what my fellow crafters in crime have come up with to inspire you and for more details on the challenge!  Can't wait to see what you create!

The Grimm Reaper - Sassy Studio Design Mini Release Halloween Blog Hop!

Welcome to day 2 of Sassy Studio Designs's Mini Release Halloween Blog Hop!  If you didn't blog hop yesterday, boy, did you miss out!  Makes sure that you take the time to go back and see all my uber talented design team sisters fabulous work!  If you came to my blog from Regan's spectacular blog, then you're on the right track.  If not, head over to the Sassy Studio Design's blog and start things off right!  I don't want you to miss a thing!

The oh so inspiring Kim came up with a fun game of Bingo for us to do!  Here's the card and doesn't it look like a blast to do?

I loved working on this challenge and ended up using the top horizonal line with bat, bird, spooky sign, fence, and spider web.  I am so luck to have been able to work with The Grimm Reaper and I think she's so spooktacular!  For my project I did a tri-fold card and made it into the shape of a

I colored her with copics and Spectrum Noir markers and added some stickles (yep, even Grimm's have to sparkle too!), to her dress and eyes.  They don't show up very well in the photo but they're pretty scary!  The papers are from K&Company's Halloween paper and the flowers are from Recollections.

I love this fence from Tim Holtz.  It's so scary and rickety looking!  I just thought the black and grey flowers were perfect!

Here's a close up of her.  I used some Goosebumps (appropriate don't you thing?!) all over her and that's what gives her hood such a shine.  The texture that stuff gives your image is out of this world!  It's the first time I've used it and I love it!  Isn't she just beautiful?  I think she looks very haunting.

This is the first panel and you can get a better view of the fence here.

This is the left side inside panel with the bat and the moon.  Love it!

Here is a better picture of this gorgeous creature going off to help someone meet their maker - or her!

I absolutely love this bird!  The paper pack had this great, dark paper with this gorgeous purple bling all over the branches.  You know I've got to love that paper with bling!

I hope you've enjoyed it.  I know there's a lot to see, but I hope you've enjoyed it!  Now make sure you hop on over to my buddy Lori's blog where I know you won't be disappointed!  If you get lost along the way, here's the order for the hop:
