Firefighter Honey by Sassy Studio Designs for Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge

I've always loved the city of Boston and the events that happened last week broke my heart.  I'm not nieve enough to think everyone can live happily together, but I take my hat off to the city that had the guts to shut itself down and not stop until it found the individual responsible for causing hurt to it's people.  I tell you, that is one classy, take care of business city and I'm so proud of their strength, resolve, and dedication to their own.

Sassy Studio Designs is sponsoring the challenge ver at Penny's Paper-Crafty this week and their theme is anything goes.  I wanted to pay homage to those who serve so I pulled out Firefighter Honey and colored her up!

Isn't she just fabulous?!  I colored her with copics and cut her out with my nestabilities.  The papers are from BasicGrey, the baker's twine from The Twinery, and she's got stickles on her coat and hat.  The baubles and button are from my stash.

I love how she's just ready to slide down that pole and meet whatever happens to come her way!  And I love a redhead!

Here's a couple of side views.

I plan on entering her in the following challenges:

Bearly-Mine Challenge - Digi Days (use a digi)
Through The Craftroom Door - anything goes
Use It Tuesday - use some hoarded supplies (my older BasicGrey paper!)
One Stop Craft - Not a square

Make sure to pick up this sweet Honey and join in on the challenge.  How much better does it get than "anything goes"?

All Wrapped Up for Penny's Paper Crafty

There's just something about presents this time of the year that's fun and exciting.  Nothing like a gorgeously wrapped box sitting under the tree or waiting for you outside.  Over at Sassy Studio Designs at the beginning of the month us Fabettes switched around our teams and I'm so thrilled to now be working with Sara on our sponsorship team!  I love finding other challenges and new blogs and groups.  I love meeting and getting to know new people and making new friends!

Today Sassy Studio Designs is sponsoring the challenge over at Penny's Paper Crafty and the theme can't be any easier or better suited to everyone - "Anything Goes!"  I'm getting into the holiday spirit and here's my project:

I used All Wrapped Up from our new Holiday Release.  Isn't she fabulous?  She's colored with copics and i added some Stickles to her ribbon and some Glossy Accents on her shoes.  This fun paper is from K&Company's Christmas line and the baker's twine and button are from Close to My Heart and the poinsettias are from Prima.  I used nestabilities for the oval behind her and the fence is from Tim Holtz.

Here's a close up of her.  I think she's just gorgeous!

Just a little peek on the inside.

I love this side view!

I generated this sentiment from the computer.  If you ask me, I think Sassy All Wrapped Up could tempt someone with cookies, don't you?

Make sure to stop over at Penny's Paper Crafty blog and join in on their fabulous challenge and see the fantastic work their Design Team has for inspiration for you.  I promise you won't be disappointed!  I can't wait to see what your take on "Anything Goes" and us a Sassy Studio Design image!  They fit absolutely everything!
