One of life's greatest pleasures for me has always been reading. Sitting in a chair in my home and going to all different countries around the world or even into an imagined world has saved me from losing my mind at times! Give me a good story that I just can't put down and well, that's my piece of heaven on earth.
Suzanne challenged us to create a book mark this week for our challenge over at Follow Your Heart, the blog for Susana's Custom Art and Card Design and I decided on another of our sweet Aurora stamps, Aurora Takes a Break, designed by our ever talented Victoria Case. I just adore this collection!
I colored her with copics and added just a bit of stickles. I colored her like my little strawberry sprite! I love her little green boots! I added a bit of my new K&Company paper and tried to keep her a bit light and inviting. What do you think?
You know me, I had to show off her sweet face! Make sure to stop over at Follow Your Heart and see what my Design Team partners have come up with for you! I'd love to see what you would create for a bookmark! Let's go take a break and read!

Roses on Paper Design Team Sketch -
Today over at Roses on Paper's Design Team Challenge blog, we have a sketch challenge created by our inspiring and talented Iris and I just loved putting this cutie together. Here's the sketch:
I pulled out one of my favorite Magnolias, Tila with Hearts, and colored her up with my copics and used some of my favorite Infuse paper from BasicGrey. Summer carries lots of different BasicGrey papers and Magnolias stamps and you can pick them up at Roses on Paper. Here's what I came up with:
I found these cute heart sticker type brads from K&Company and I thought they were perfect to touch up the ribbon and I simply adore the sentiment from Sentiment Salon! What is better than printing off sentiments and putting them on a card? That is so easy for me!
So head on over to the Roses on Paper Challenge Blog and see what my DT sisters have come up with to inspire you. Join in on our fun because we love seeing what you do!
