It's no secret that I love Elisabeth Bell's designs. When I started stamping again, The first place I looked was for her sweet images. I did a blog hop and won this sweet little digi called Little Lamb. I love everything about this - the sweetest clothes, that adorable lamb, that she's barefoot, and my gosh, that stunningly enchanting face! I took my time to really find the right way to present her and I think I did ok!
My sweetie pop is colored with copics and has stickles on her dress and headband. The papers are from a beautiful DCWV calendar pack and I love the French country look they have. The pearls and ribbon is from my stash and I used my CTMH distressor for the edges of the paper. Oh, there is Scrapper's Floss on the wooden button.
How can you resist this sweet face? I sure can't!
I tried to give the inside a country type look to it and here's one side.
I loved the sketch that Tuesday Morning Sketches had that I had to use it again!
And the other side:
This is the inside:
She was so restful to work on and went together so quickly. Once I start on these images, I just can't stop. I hope you enjoy her as much as I enjoyed working her up!

Little Best Friends - Nani, Make Me a Book!
The phone rings last night and my daughter, Tiffany, says, "Here, talk to your granddaughter." My four year old granddaughter, Allie, gets on the phone. "Nani, Nani, please make me another book and send it to my box tonight!" In her world, that translates to "Nani, Nani, please make me a card and send it to me in the mail so I can get it out of my mail box!" Oh, and it had to be blue. I had my evening all planned out by putting together a Saturated Canary, Magnolia, and Sassy Studio Designs cards but guess what got put aside? Yep, when the grandbabies call, Nani comes running!
Of course, for me, I go to my Elisabeth Bell designs and printed off Little Best Friends, one of her sweet, adorable, and enchanting images. Here is Allie's book:
This cute image reminds me of me and Allie going to the pool and beach while we were in Florida. She would call and ask me to go swimsuit. So stinkin cute! I colored these sweeties with copics and added some stickles to their suits and hair because hair and swimsuits glisten in the sunlight! I put some Diamond Glaze on their pails and added pearls all over the card. I love me some pearls because the come from the sea! I thought the Heidi Grace Paper was soft and subtle for the background and embossed it with my dotted swiss cuttlebug folder. The flowers remind me of the sea roses that grow along the beaches in Maine. So perfectly beautiful they are.
Here is a close up of these sweeties holding hands.
I added some paper and pearls to the inside and am really pleased with how this one came out.
Life is so much better when you hold hands and have fun. Best friends, hot mess granddaughters, and the ocean always make life so much sweeter. I love my life and hope you love yours. Have a great day!

Li'l Cowboy by Elizabeth Bell
She's gone and done it again! The oh so talented and inspiring Elisabeth Bell has taken me back to my childhood where things were so innocent and pleasures were simple. She's brought us some us some of the sweetest digi stamps and I couldn't be happier to be presenting and sharing them with you on my favorite holiday of the year, Easter weekend!

This sweetie pop is Li'l Cowboy and he takes me back to times with my brother and my nephews. There's nothing as timeless as a little horsey head on a stick! I can still feel the soft, cool plastic with the bright white impressions on it from when my little brother, Rick, used to get one of these. He would ride it around and I so wanted to have my own horse. I remember one time telling Mommy I had changed my name and demanded that everyone start calling me Dale Evans! And I remember getting mad at my brother one time for something stupid and I took his horse and stuck the head in some water and mopped the floor with his horse's mane! Yep, I was a little something with attitude back then!

I just adore the feel of this sweetie with his little long johns on. Can't you just see him growing up to become a real bull rider or ranch hand? Oh, those earthy men just make me weak in the knees!

And his sweet boots! I remember buying one of these same horsey's for my nephews and the boots. Oh how they thought they were all grown up in those boots! Little did I realize how fast their little feet grew!
I love this saying 'Free your mind from worries". I adore these block sayings and thought this one was so carefree and perfectly suited for the easy feel of this card.

So go off and free your mind from worries and let it create something wonderful and warming from your childhood. Head on over to Elisabeth's blog and pick up these sweet things and show us what you created. I love hearing about other's childhoods and memories. Happy Easter on this blessed weekend.

I'm back and a new digi release from Elisabeth Bell!
For those of you who came back to visit, thank you so much for hanging in there with me! It's been a very trying couple of weeks without a computer but it's been a good, revealing couple of weeks for me. I've got my computer back and it's better than ever! Nice new monitor and a keyboard that I think I can finally type with! And I'm having some work done on my blog, so look back in a few days and it should be fabulous! And I've got a few cards to share with you this week and I've been playing around with some of digis and here's an absolutely enchanting one from the oh so talented Elisabeth Bell that I'd love to share with you.

The ever so talented Elisabeth Bell has released another fabulous digi and this sweetie is called "Pat-A-Cake"! Isn't it just too sweet and cute? The Belles N' Whistles team was asked to help show her off so make sure to stop over at all my sisters blogs and see what they've come up with for you!
I remember sitting for hours on end playing Pat-A-Cake with my best friend growing up, Debbie, and then with all my nephews and of course with my girls. And I'm sad to say that no matter how many time I baked that cake, you still wouldn't eat it very much of it! Baking is not my forte but spending hours on end with the little ones that I love sure was! I love this sweet image because it so reminds me of spending wonderful, happy times with loved ones and oh, how I wish I looked this sweet and fresh playing!
She's colored with copics and I used the great papers from The Basic Origins collection from BasicGrey. Love their papers and the colors from this collection are just beautiful.
Make sure to stop by over at Elisabeth's blog and pick this sweet experience up for your collection. So go have some fun and tell me all about your favorite childhood game. I' love to hear about it!
