I Love You This Much for The Digi Bells

The sun is out and the wind is fresh.  Springtime is here and I'm loving it!  It's my time to share over at The Digi Bells Design Team Blog and I thought I'd share one of my favorite (I know I say that a lot!) digis from Elisabeth Bell's Digi Collection.  This beauty is "I Love You This Much" and you can find her here.

I chose to use the sketch for the Charisma Cardz Challenge using the following sketch and The Play Date Cafe because of their photo colors:

This cutie pie is colored with copics and I added some stickles to her headband, cuffs, and patches.  I used some gorgeous Prima Paper called Madeline.  I added some handmade flowers and the branch is from my Storybook cricut cartridge.

Here's a couple of views of the insides.

You can get a bnetter look at these gorgeous papers on the inside.

Dare To Be Sassy at Sassy Studio Designs - Going Green

The theme for the challenge this week for the Dare To Be Sassy Thursday over at the Sassy Studio Designs blog is going green!  Recycling and reusing is so important now and we as crafters can do our part in helping the environment.  How many of us have some cards, papers, or embellishments just laying around?  I know I do.  I have cards that I've put together and just wasn't really satisfied with them and never photographed them  or passed them on to others.   I think of craft recycling in terms of pulling off elements that I don't really like off of something that I've already completed  and adding it to something new that I'm working on.

Here's my going green card that I did for our going green:

This is Sexy Bride Sassy and you can find her here.  I just love her sassy pose and attitude!  She's colored with copics and has Stickles all over her dress and garter and shoes.  The pearls are from Studio 112 and the papers are from my stash.  I followed the following sketch from Digi Sketch Challenge:

You know how I really struggle with the clean and simple cards but I think I showed great restraint in not adding a lot of flowers or ribbon or tons more pearls!  Rather proud of myself, I am.

I angled the sentiment secion of the inside so you can see some of the gorgeous yellow rose on the bottom.

I'm going to be entering this hottie in the following challenges:

A and T Emerald Faeries Challenge Blog - bling
Digital Tuesday - Button or bling
Oldie But A Goody Challenge - Something at least six months old (my papers are from my stash and at least a year old!)

Head on over to our Sassy Studio Designs blog and show us how you're going green.  And also take a gander at the gorgeous projects my designing team family has to share with you all.  Nothing short of spectacular!  Go Green!

Glitter It Up for Elphine House Australia!

Don't you just love it when there's another challenge up by one of your favorite stamp lines?  It's time over at our Elphine House Australia Design Team blog for our new challenge and this tie it's Glitter It Up!
Elphine House Australia has some of Elisabeth Bell's sweetest designs and I just can't get enough of them!

When I think glitter, I think princesses.  This sweetie pie is Sophie on Timber Throne and I colored her with copics and added a ton of stickles and Diamong Glaze on her.  The papers are from BasicGrey's Sultry pack and I made the flowers using my Cricut Flower Design cartridge.  I cut her and the swirls out with Nestabilities and the pearls are from Studio 112.  The lace is from my stash.

I absolutely the butterfly and her crown!

I'm giving you a couple side views because they give you an idea of what the flower are like.

I used the remaining papers on the inside of the card and added a couple of swirls to it.

I think she's simply adorable!

Make sure to stop over at our Elphine House Australia Design Team Blog and see the gorgeous creations that my sister design team members have come up with to inspire you.  And go get your glitter on and join in our challenge!  You can find all the details over at the blog.

Scrappy Frogs Challenge for March!

At the beginning of each Month, Scrappy Frogs Challenge Blog always has a fun challenge going on.  This time we were asked to show some luck of the Irish!  When I heard luck of the irish, I had no other choice than to use one of my favorite stamps, Irish Eyes from Susana's Custom Art and Card Design by Elisabeth Bell.  I have always loved this cutie pie and had such a blast making her up!

I used this sketch from the Just Us Girls Challenge that I'm planning on entering her in

She's colored with copics and has some emerald and star dust stickles added to her vest and shamrocks.  I used my nestabilities to cut out her and her frame and the flowers are from Recollections  I love this Basic Grey paper and have been hoarding it for a long time.  I love having my Basic Grey papers and hate using them.  Sick, isn't that?!  The ribbon is from my stash.

Here's a couple of side views of her.

I wanted to show off the inside.  While it's pretty basic, I really loved these papers.

I just love any of Elisabeth Bell's images, especially the ones I get to look forward to using around a certain holiday or special celebration day.  I hope you enjoy her and come on over to Scrappy Frogs Challenge Blog and show us how Irish Eyes Smile on you!
