Little Lamb

It's no secret that I love Elisabeth Bell's designs.  When I started stamping again, The first place I looked was for her sweet images.  I did a blog hop and won this sweet little digi called Little Lamb.  I love everything about this - the sweetest clothes, that adorable lamb, that she's barefoot, and my gosh, that stunningly enchanting face!  I took my time to really find the right way to present her and I think I did ok!

My sweetie pop is colored with copics and has stickles on her dress and headband.  The papers are from a beautiful DCWV calendar pack and I love the French country look they have.  The pearls and ribbon is from my stash and I used my CTMH distressor for the edges of the paper.  Oh, there is Scrapper's Floss on the wooden button.

How can you resist this sweet face?  I sure can't!

I tried to give the inside a country type look to it and here's one side.

I loved the sketch that Tuesday Morning Sketches had that I had to use it again!
And the other side:

This is the inside:

She was so restful to work on and went together so quickly.  Once I start on these images, I just can't stop.  I hope you enjoy her as much as I enjoyed working her up!

Tilda with Lovely Jam - Yum Yum!

The end of summer is so bittersweet for me.  I love the hot weather but will admit, that every now and then, that break in the weather is very well welcomed!  I love when all the berries have come to full fruition and are ripe and ready for some good jam making!  Making jams is one thing that is on my list of things to learn to do.  To me, there's nothing as good as having a piece of great homemade bread (which thanks to my bread maker I can do!), slicing it and slapping a bunch of good old homemade jam on top of it!  Gosh, I'm making myself hungry already!

When I saw this sweetie pop Tilda with Lovely Jam, I knew I had to pick her up from Cindy at StampingScrapping!  She is such a fun time!  I think she looks as yummy as her jam!

I colored her with copics and added some red Smooch to her bandana, Diamond glaze to her jar and spook and some stickles to her lace.  The pearls and ribbon are from my stash and the flowers are from Reflections.  I used some Nestabilities to frame her and the sweet paper is some of my favorite from Cosmo Cricket called Honey Pie.  Love it and am sad that mine is almost gone.  :(

Doesn't she have just the sweetest face?  I just got most of my stamps back from my daughter keeping them for me during my move and get ready, cause I do love me some Tilda!

I love this paper so much that I used some of my scraps for the inside.  Here's one peek:

And another peek.  Now the inside:

I am going to enter this cutie in the following challenges:

Now I'm off to find me some homemade jam!  There's always some around the house!  Have a great day!

Marci Ruffles - One Last Call for Summertime!

Labor Day in Ohio means that autumn is just right around the corner.  I love the refreshing feeling of the air outside in the mornings and the gorgeous colors that pop up everywhere.  My sweet Ruffles Marci from La-La Land Crafts lets me hang on to that last, little twinge of summer that is still lingering on.  I love her sweet ruffles and cute skirt.  Looks so comfy!  This Marci reminds me of my Lainie Loo with her big eyes!

Speaking of my Lainie Loo, I had the best week with my family.  I loved the time I got to spend with them.  We swam, jumped in the pool, played cards one day and mainly just spent every second we could together and it was fabulous and rejuvenating!  Oh, but how I miss all of my girls!  There is never enough time with family for me.  Here is a couple of pictures of my babies:

I think they're the most precious things!  I'll post some more picture tomorrow.  I've got to download some more.

I pulled my pictures in the wrong order so you get a glimpse of the inside from the side view.

She is colored with copics and I added some stickles to her headband and blouse.  The paper is from Basic Grey and the pearls are from my stash.  Here is her sweet face.  She has the biggest, brightest eyes on her!  Reminds me of my Lainie Loo!

Anywho, here's another peek into the inside.

I've really enjoyed finishing the insides.  Sometimes the insides look better than the outside!

I'll be back tomorrow with another card and some more stories about my babies!  Have a great day!
