Sweet Love for Elisabeth Bell's World

There's just something about Valentine's Day. Whether you're in love or not, you can always find someone who is special enough to make you think sweetly and lovingly of them on February 14th! It's that time over at Elisabeth Bell's World to share a new challenge and some inspiration and how appropriate to work up a vintage valentine! I used "Sweet Love" that Elisabeth designed for Belles n' Whistles and while it's not available, it's still one of my all time favorites of her designs. Hugs and Kisses This sweet couple is colored with copics and I cut out the hearts and distressed the edges of them. The papers are from an old K&Company paper pack. The flowers are from Recollections and I added lots of stickles all over so this sweet couple could shine on their special day! DSCF1734 Make sure to stop over at our blog and see all the fabulous works of art that my designing sisters have come up to share with you all! Make sure to join in. There's always someone valentine worthy!

Little Honey's Holiday Belle

When I've been asked what I would love to collect, it's always been something Disney. I love everything about them from Mickey Mouse, to Tinkerbell (my personal favorite!), to the Princesses.  When I saw this Little Honey's Holiday Belle image from Sassy Studio Designs, I had to have her!  She was my Tiffany's favorite movie and it's my granddaughter, Allie's, favorite too!  Wish I had a nickle for everytime I watch or listened to Beauty and the Beast!

Today, Sassy Studio Designs is sponsoring a couple of challenges, Challenges 4 Everybody, where it's Anything Goes, and Glitter n Sparkle Challenge Blog, where the theme is Christmas/New Year's.  I thought this sweet Little Honey's Holiday Belle would be perfect for both!

Isn't she just a doll?  I think she looks like her own perfect ornament on a Christmas tree.  She's colored with copics and has Stickles all over her bow and flowers and cuffs.  The papers are from K&Company's gorgeous Christmas stack and the red glitter corners and swirls are from Spellbinders's and the gem and ribbon are from my stash.

Gosh, I love her sweet face!  Here's a couple of side views for you to give you a peek on what's inside.

And Judy, here's an inside.  I just am in love with this paper!

That's it for today.  I hope everyone has a great last day of the weekend and is relaxing and putting the finishing touches on the holiday preparations.  Make sure to go on over and join in on the two challenge blogs and show them some love!

Evil Sorceress by Sassy Studio Designs

It's going to be a great Friday over at our Paper Craft Planet Sassy Studio Designs Paper Craft Planet Group!  I can't wait to share this weeks Fabulous Freebie Friday with you!  Think mean.  Think evil.  Think on gorgeous woman who can pull you into her world and you are powerless to stop her. Lindsay has created a beautiful woman that we should all be very afraid of!  Meet the Evil Sorceress!

Isn't she just glorious?    Here's a closer view.

I am entering her in the Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge and here's the sketch they had:

She's colored with Spectrum Noir markers and I used some Stickles on her globe, headdress, sleeves, and the bottom of her dress.  My Spellbinder die cut is edged with Distressed inks the Floral Florishes are from my new Spellbinders set that I just love!  The papers are from a great K&Company Halloween pack from Brenda Walton.  The ribbon and gems are from my stash.

You know how I like to tease you with a peek on the insides!

Here's a closer look at her gorgeous face.

I love this spider creeping down the paper on the inside!

I've had the best time this week watching some old Disney fairy tales and Harry Potter movies!  I've got to watch some Walking Dead for a couple of cards I've got in the works.  Now make sure that you go over to our Paper Craft Planet group and pick up this deliciously gorgeous Evil Sorceress and show us how you see her!

Also, make sure to invite your friends to join our group over there because Lindsay has a terribly fabulous treat for us once we hit 800 members!  We're so close and I don't know about you, but I'm always up for a free image, especially a very sexy image just for us!  I promise you won't be disappointed!

Have a great weekend!

Cocoa's Latte from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps for Tuesday Throwdown

One of my favorite things is coffee!  Love it, must have it every day!  Want to make me happy?  Just get me a coffee mug.  Nichole's husband banned me for bringing another coffee mug into the house.  We literally were running out of space in the cabinets!

It's time for another Tuesday Throwdown Challenge!  Our sponsor over at Tuesday Throwdown this challenge is Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps and they have some of the sweetest stamps!  Our ever so talented Helen challenged us to create something using this picture as inspiration:

Here's my take on this photo:

I love Cocoa's Latte!  A latte is one of my favorites, but I'd sell my soul for a cappicino any time!  I love this cup and this little cutie poking her head around from the back.  Cocoa is colored with copics and Spectrum Noir markers and I added some stickles to his ears, the cup band and gave my hot cup some steam rising.  The papers are from K&Company and the pearls are from Studio 112.  I used my spellbinders Parisian motif for the circle and my new Floral Florish in the corner.  The ribbon is form Recollections.

Here's a side view.

I touched her little nose with a tiny bit of Glossy Accents.  Isn't she just the most precious thing?  You can see the distressed ink I used around the edges better close up.

This is another florish from the Spellbinders set.  I think they're so pretty.

Make sure to stop over at the Tuesday Throwdown Challenge blog and see what my fellow crafters in crime have come up with to inspire you and for more details on the challenge!  Can't wait to see what you create!

The Grimm Reaper - Sassy Studio Design Mini Release Halloween Blog Hop!

Welcome to day 2 of Sassy Studio Designs's Mini Release Halloween Blog Hop!  If you didn't blog hop yesterday, boy, did you miss out!  Makes sure that you take the time to go back and see all my uber talented design team sisters fabulous work!  If you came to my blog from Regan's spectacular blog, then you're on the right track.  If not, head over to the Sassy Studio Design's blog and start things off right!  I don't want you to miss a thing!

The oh so inspiring Kim came up with a fun game of Bingo for us to do!  Here's the card and doesn't it look like a blast to do?

I loved working on this challenge and ended up using the top horizonal line with bat, bird, spooky sign, fence, and spider web.  I am so luck to have been able to work with The Grimm Reaper and I think she's so spooktacular!  For my project I did a tri-fold card and made it into the shape of a

I colored her with copics and Spectrum Noir markers and added some stickles (yep, even Grimm's have to sparkle too!), to her dress and eyes.  They don't show up very well in the photo but they're pretty scary!  The papers are from K&Company's Halloween paper and the flowers are from Recollections.

I love this fence from Tim Holtz.  It's so scary and rickety looking!  I just thought the black and grey flowers were perfect!

Here's a close up of her.  I used some Goosebumps (appropriate don't you thing?!) all over her and that's what gives her hood such a shine.  The texture that stuff gives your image is out of this world!  It's the first time I've used it and I love it!  Isn't she just beautiful?  I think she looks very haunting.

This is the first panel and you can get a better view of the fence here.

This is the left side inside panel with the bat and the moon.  Love it!

Here is a better picture of this gorgeous creature going off to help someone meet their maker - or her!

I absolutely love this bird!  The paper pack had this great, dark paper with this gorgeous purple bling all over the branches.  You know I've got to love that paper with bling!

I hope you've enjoyed it.  I know there's a lot to see, but I hope you've enjoyed it!  Now make sure you hop on over to my buddy Lori's blog where I know you won't be disappointed!  If you get lost along the way, here's the order for the hop:

Lexi with Balloons

Ever see a sweet face that you just can't get out of your mind?  When I saw an image from this totally adorable company, Pretty Little Stamps, on my good friend, Suzanne Dean's blog, I knew I had to track her down!  She has the sweetest images there and this is one that I picked up called Lexi with Balloons.  Isn't she just precious?

I had the best time coloring her!  She's colored with my Spectrum Noir markers and I added some distressed ink in Antique Linen around the edges.  Her balloons, headband, and ribbons have some Diamond Glaze added and you know I had to put some stickles on her flower, lace and boots!  This gorgeous paper is from K&Company Susan Winget's Floral Mat Pad and I'm crazy over it!  I used my Parisian Motif Spellbinders for the swirled circle behind her and the pearls are from Studio 112.

Here's a view of one of the sides.  I distressed around the edges of everything except for the circles.  You can see it a little bit better on the next picture.

Just who could ever resist this sweet face?  Gosh, I sure can't!

This is the inside and shows off the paper a little bit better.  Beautiful, isn't it?

I always love finding someone new to color up and I think you'll be seeing more of this sweet little face from me in the future!  Hope everyone has had a great week.  Hope you have great plans for the upcoming weekend.

Camptown Girls . . .

Won't You Come Out tonight? The Rosebuds made it through to the next round with The Greeting Farm Royal Battle and it's my turn up and I'm scared! My battle challenge was to make a scrapbook page and I don't scrap! HELP! I need you to go and vote and you if follow this link, it will get you there. Please help me by voting for my page at the above link. Everyone has worked so hard and I'd hate to let my talented team members down.

I love this picture and found it while I was at home in Ohio last weekend. Look at these saucy girls! This is a picture from my navy days when a couple of my friends and I went to an amusement park. We decided we'd put a bit of fun into our outing and instead of sitting around in jeans and tank tops having our Jack and coke, we decided to add a bit of fantasy to our adventure. We could have really stepped back in time and fit right in with any camptown going ons! Yes, we could hold our own!
I love the vintage look of the papers and this Cheeky Shooter is one of my favorite stamps from The Greeting Farm. She just screams sass and I love to stamp me some sass!

Isn't this Cheeky Shooter just the best? I simply adore her and her sisters from The Greeting Farm. I've got so many ideas for these babes and can't wait to play some more with them.

I hope you enjoyed one of my first scrapbook pages. It's a scary thing but I had so much more fun that I thought I would! I'm going to be making me another page!

Please go over and vote for us Rosebuds over at The Greeting Farm blog. I need all the help I can get! Thanks a bunch!

Page Ingredients:

Sunshine N' Apples for Belles N' Whistles and Fairy 2 by Mo's Digital Pencil

Isn't this cutie just adorable? She's called Sunshine N' Apples for Belles N' Whistles. I just love her umbrella and basket. She reminds me of my Nichole and how she loved to go pick apples when she was younger.

I colored her with copics and used Glossy Accents on her apples and headband and the ribbon on her pants. I added a bit of my Spica Glitter Pen on her umbrella and the paper and brads in the middle of the flowers are from BasicGrey's Junebug collection. Love it! The flowers are Prima flowers and I had to add a bit of Stickles to them! You know how I love the stickles!

And now I have to introduce you to one of my new favorite images. Meet Fairy 2 from Mo's Digital Pencil! Isn't she just the greatest thing? I love how full of life she looks and if you ask me, she looks like she's having the time of her life! I'd love to wake up and see that lively babe sprinkiling her fun fairy dust around me!

She's colored with copics and I love this paper from the Wild Raspberry stack from K&Company. The ribbon is from my stash and I added some stickles to her wings and some glitter to her want. I think she's just perfectly charming!

Here's a picture of her gorgeous face up close. Doesn't she look like she just wants everyone to be happy and accept themselves as they are? I just love her!

And make sure to stop by Follow Your Heart for a great opportunity to win some sweet Blog Candy! We're having a sneak peek tomorrow of the New Hearts and Hugs Collection #2 for Susana's Custom Art and Card Design by Victoria Case
Hope you enjoy both of these sweeties and I promise to try and be better about being around and posting more regularly. Go out and enjoy what's left of the summertime. Pick some fresh fruit and appreciate those gorgeous, glorious flowers that we've been blessed with!
