Woo Hoo! The day has finally arrived and I'm so excited to present "Belle", one of the nine stunningly adorable stamps from Victoria Case for Susana's Custom Art and Card Design (SCACD), exclusively at Susana's store! We're having such fun doing a great blog hop so if you haven't come to my blog from Anki's then you've missed out on some fabulous creations! My Belle is from the first series entitled "The Hearts and Hugs Collection" so yes, my dear friends, there will be more cuteness on the way! She's precious and don't you just love the Susanament that just matches her perfectly? The Susanaments area collection of 10 sentiments that fit so many different occasions so yes, you'll be seeing more wording on my cards in the future!

I followed Sketch Saturday's sketch for thise beauty. I love their sketches! She's colored with copics and I used some Siren and Moonlight Smooch on her leotard, some stickles on her tutu and some Glossy Accent on her shoes. The paper is from K&Company Wild Raspberry collection and I love the gold textured paper from The Paper Company. Don't you just love that gorgeous Petaloo Mulberry Wild Rose on top? Belle so reminds me of my Nichole and her recitals. Hopefully I'll have lots of recitals coming up from Allie and Emma!

Try It Out Tuesday #18 - Shape Up!

It's Tuesday and you know what that means - Try It Out Tuesday over at Follow Your Heart, Susana, from Susana's Custom Art and Card Design! Suzanne, our ever talented and challenge us leader, has tasked us with creating something other than a straight card and gave us the below sketch. Thank Goodness she allows us some creativity!



I've always loved Fairy Swing, one of the IBFS Fairies ever since I saw it at Susana's store. Had to have it and I think she's perfect for this challenge! Wouldn't it be wonderful to be so carefree that we could just swing on the flowers and just take in their sweet nectar and fragrance? I colored her with copics and used all kinds of Shimmerz on her and aren't the flowers, some of the new Petaloo's just to die for? I love them and can't wait to make something else so I can share them with you all!



I cut the base of the card out using my Cricut and the Storybook cartridge. I attached the front and back with a brad. I thought you'd like to see how the inside looks once you slide it to open it.

Sophia Ballerina and Big Fun News and Victoria Case coming to SCACD and a Sneak Peek!!!!!

This time of the year brings around dance recitals and such sweet memories of Nichole's ballet recitals. She had the pretties costumes and looked so sweet and graceful all dressed up. But that wasn't my favorite way of seeing her. I loved her every Saturday little sheer skirt she talked me into making for her. She would stand there or walk around and hold the ends of the skirt with her finger tips just to make the skirt move and twirl. I'd come downstairs where her bedroom was and she'd be dancing to her own music. Oh, those memories are so precious to me.

Sophia Ballerina by Paper Pretties is a stamp that I'll keep forever and use over and over. I was looking around on Saturday and found this great sketch from Our Creative Corner and thought I'd use it. I stamped this diva on GinaK Luxury Paper and colored her with copics and used some Shimmerz on her skirt. The paper is from the4 DCWV Spring Collection and the flowers are Prima. I absolutely love this cutie!

The premier of the NEW stamp line is called Victoria Case for SCACD and the 1st in the series the Hearts and Hugs Collection. Right now all I can tell you is it’s a line of fantastic images with a cuteness factor that are off the scales for Susana's store! Now you won’t see the line just yet that will happen on Friday May 15 for the Big Premier of the entire line of 9 stamps. We are celebrating our New collaboration so check out Follow Your Heart, the store blog for the first puzzle piece in the big reveal and for details to keep ya going till Friday May 15. Lily, Tweet and Bella and Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day! Yesterday was a busy day for me. I got to spend a lot of time with Nichole doing some girly stuff and getting my nails and then spent the rest of the day with some me time, getting my hair cut and playing with Hagrid, watching a movie and stamping. It just doesn't get much better than that!

I love that Susana at Susana's Custom Art and Card Design (SCACD) is now carrying Pink Cat Studio stamps! I love this Lily and Tweet. Looks like they're all dressed up for some shopping and girl time. These sweeties are from the Lily and Tweet plate. So stinkin cute! I used the sketch that Suzanne created for SCACD's PCP Group. Stop over and participate because there's a sweet prize at the 3end of the month! I colored her with copics and used some Velvet Flock on Tweet and the center of the flower and Petals on them both. Love the shimmer on the Glitter Spring Stack from DCWV.



My Bellas have been sinfully neglected lately so I pulled out Veggiebella and had some fun with the PCP Weekly Sketch. I love the bright colors and the hope of fresh flowers and vegetables. She reminds me of my co-worker, Mary, who like my mother, can make anything grow. Heck, she's even got me keeping plants alive!

I hope that everyone has a very Happy Mother's Day! It's a wonderful celebration of the women who sacrifice so much of themselves so that all of us may grow and become the best that we can be. Honor them not only today but every day. I'm going to try.
