Rowdy Nichole, I mean Tilda!

Rowdy Tilda could very easily be called Rowdy Nichole! To look at my daughter, you'd never guess that she used to get into fights with boys all the time she was in elementary school. She's just stunningly beautiful and is such a girly-girl. But she has a streak in her that I won't call mean, but a lot of the boys who had to walk home found out early to leave her alone! One day there had been a lot of snow and while we were waiting for her and Tiffany to walk home, our neighbor across the street called and said we may want to go pull Nichole out of the snowbank. We rush out only to find her sitting on a neighborhood bully after she'd pushed him into a snowbank! He'd been aggravating her because he had a crush on her. All she wanted was to be left alone. I was mortified because my ballet princess was being mean and her dad was so proud of her for standing up for herself! Kids!

This is my first attempt at embossing an image and then coloring with markers and I'm really pleased with how she came out. I embossed her with clear powder and colored her with copics and Prismacolor markers. I used stickles on her wings and my spica glitter pen on the snowball. She looks a bit fuzzy because I used Fun Flock on her hat and cuffs. The glitter paper in the circle is from DCWV and so is the patterned paper. The card stock is from SU and the circles were cut with my nestabilities.

So for those of you out there with girly-girls, don't worry too much about them because they're stronger than we think or than they let on! Enjoy!
