Our Very First Saturday Spotlight With Hidden Potential Challenge - Halloween-NOT!

How exciting it is to be part of a brand new Design Team of extremely talented and fun stamping and to present some avenues to challenge you to find your hidden potential as a stamper and crafter! Vicki from Saturday Spotlight With Hidden Potential's Challenge Blog, thanks so much for having faith and belief in me as a card artist in that I can help inspire people to dig deep and find something in them they didn't realize was there and to my other Spotlight Divas, I'm having so much fun with all of you! I'm just thrilled and cant' wait to get get started so let's go!

Our first challenge for you is to create a Halloween-NOT card. Yep, that's right, we'd love to you create a Halloween card and not use something scary or obvious on it. The image I chose is one half of a stamp that had the cutest little wizard on it. If you know anything about me, you'll realize how had it was for me to take my little wizard off of Scarecrow & Little Wizard from Belles and Whistles. Here this cutie is:

Nothing says fall to me like a cutie scarecrow out in a garden.  My mom always had a garden and had a scarecrow in it.  She would dress him up and from the road, you would swear that there was a grown man sitting out in her garden!  What made me dig a little deep was thinking about what I could do to make this crow chaser a bit different and I thought about using raffia where some of the hay would be.  So he has a bit of raffia at the bottom of his pants and coming out of his side.  I love how it looks on him!

Now I want you to go take a peek at what our blog looks like!  And while you're doing a bit of travelling, make sure you stop by all of my Diva gal pals and see what they've unearthed for their hidden potential this week.  So what's going to be your hidden potential this week?  I'd love to see and hear all about it!

Card Ingredients:

Scarecrow & Little Wizard by Belles N' Whistles, Indian Summer Paper Stack from DCWV, Rhinestones, Raffia, Stickles, Petaloo Daisies, Scrapper's Floss, button, copics, nestabilities, Spiderweb cuttlebug folder, MS edger
