Darling Daisy

Daisies just make you smile. There's something about them that looks so light and delicate, but they're really quite hearty. I think that's what I love about Darling Daisy. She looks hearty, curious and ready for some fun!

I colored her with copics and used corner rounders on the edges. I found a great sketch on Lord Have Mercy and used Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge #26 (MTSC26). I love this sketch and I'll be using it again! The beautiful paper is Le Stripe and C'est Mangnifique by Rhonna Farrer and I used Bella Baubles along the panel. The sentiment is from a Close to My Heart set, The Simple Things, that my son-in-law Christopher picked out for me himself for Christmas. Doesn't that rock?! The center of the flowers are flocked with Velvet flock, her dress is outlined and highlighted with the Clear Atyou Spica Pen and her wings are covered with stickles. You can pick up this cutie from Susana's Custom Art and Card Design.

Make sure you visit The Follow Your Heart blog and our group at Paper Craft Planet. Great things are planned for both places!

Michelle is offering some really sweet blog candy, includig copics. Go give her a shout!

This hearty little baby made me smile. I hope she cheers up your day.
