What We Teach Our Children

When God places little angels in our keeping, we as parents are responsible for what we teach them. Sometimes the lessons and hard, sometimes they're easy. Sometimes their coplicated, but sometimes they're extremely simple. For me the simplest thing and most natural thing to do is to pray. Pray for protection for my children, for good health. Pray that I can be as good a grandmother to Emma and Allie as My grandmother was to me and as my mother and sister are to their grandchildren. I've always been blessed with good Godly female role models and I've never had to look outside my own family. That's the one thing in life I hope I can achieve.

So Heavenly, Tilda, is a Magnolia that crawled right into my heart. I saw her and had to have her. When I look at her and see her sweet peaceful face, I see the same innocence that I see when I look at Allie and Emma. You always think of things you want to teach them, things you want to do with and for them. I look at her and can see my sweet great nieces, Paige and Madelyn and Ella and know that there is still good things happening in this world. Little girls are being born into good families and hope lives on. They renew us and give us our second wind.

I wanted to keep her simple and sweet. The card stock is from SU and the papers are from Debbie Mumm's paper stack for Girls and by DCWV. I colored Tilda with copics and used nestabilities for the circles. I sprayed the pink circle with Pearl Glimmer Mist and I love it! I used pearl drops from Kaiser on the corners and crystal stickles on Tilda's wings. The dove inside is also from the So Heavenly collection.

I hope you enjoy her and can find the sweet peacefullness in your life that she has in her sweet face and that we find in the hope of things to come for our children.
