Pen Pal

When I was in elementary school, I had a Pen Pal from Australia. Her name was Cindy and we corresponded for about a year. Then she moved and never got back in touch with me. I think it's so much fun to get to know people from different parts of the world. Through a couple of groups I belong to, I'm getting to know people from Canada, England, Germany and Sweden! These are all places I'd love to visit so how better to get a glimpse of the life than through pen paling. Now instead of going through writing a letter on paper and mailing it, most people use the internet to put them in touch with people in different places. I love that I can send a note to Maria in England or Tanya in Germany and know that they have access to it instantaneously! How much fun!

My new friend Marit, sent me this image Pen Pal by Elizabeth Bell and I just adore her! Between Magnolias, Stamping Bella and Elizabeth Bell and Sarah Kay, I'm having a tough time coming up with a favorite stamping company right now! I colored Miss Pen Pal with my new Koh-I-Noor color pencils and OMS and used my favorite background paper from Basic Grey from their Euphoria line. I love theses papers! In fact I loved these so much that I bought the buttons and brads to go along with them! I used my clear Jelly Roller to highlight her earring, buckle, necklace, heart and flowers. And she just looked so precious that I had to use my favorite cuttlebug folder, dotted swiss with her. The card stock is from SU's new In Color line.

I hope everyone picks out one person to have as a pen pal. I think their fabulous!
