Peace!

I always wanted to be a hippie. I wanted to be tall, thin, have long hair and look good in a headband. No such luck for me. The thought of doing my own thing and being out there in my way of thinking and living wouldn't have gone over quite so well in my family. The whole "Make love not war" thing would have broken my parents hearts and I just couldn't intentionally do that. Besides, I was only in elementary school during some of the sixties and then on to junior high. Still, while I couldn't have done the make love not war thing, it would have been nice to be skinny!

Hippiechickabella is just one of the funnest Stamping Bella's I've seen! I knew that with something like her, you can't mess up with coloring. Everything was in style back then. In fact, the more off color, the better! I colored her with my Prisma markers and used my spica glitter pen on her necklace, bracelet and beads in her headband. I thought the flowers and dots cuttlebug folder just worked perfectly with the whole 60's theme because they were everywhere! The cardstock is SU and the background paper is from DCWV (I think). Love the flower brads from Making Memories and the silk flowers are from Walmart.

I love her and her carefree way. Hope you do, too! And as they say now, "Peace out."

Oh Susan she's fabulous. Always do your "own" thing. It's so important to be true to yourself. LOL I say this after growing up with the worlds strictest father hahahaha. I'm so happy as an adult aren't you? :) FABULOUS card!

She is so cute. Love the tye die look on the embossed paper. I too wanted to be a hippy, but I was only 12. I still got to where the fun clothes like the granny dresses and suede had and vest.Oh those were the days. I love the styles that are in today. They take me back to Junior High.
