Let's skate!

My girls used to love to skate. We'd buy them ice skates and take them out to the park in the middle of downtown after the water was frozen over and off they'd go. Their dad would skate with them and I'd be going around the perimeter of the rink holding my own, but very glad that I was away from the quick action. In my mind, though, I was gliding around on the ice like Peggy Fleming and Dorothy Hamel! Like I said, that was in my mind and about the time I'd fall would be the time I was supposed to be doing a double flip!

Tilda on Skates reminds me so much of those fun times with the girls. Tilda is from Magnolia stamps and is colored with copics. I used my nestibilities to cut out and emboss the ovals and the red printed background is paper from Bo Bunny. I used the new snow dots cuttlebug folder on the paper and the white background. The ribbon is from Offray and the snowflakes are from some Christmas garland I got from Joann's years ago. I sprayed the entire card with some Glimmer Mist in Cherub Pink

I hope I haven't jinxed us here in Maine by doing this winter card. Winter comes so early and stays so long that I've fought doing her. Give me a bit of fall before the first snow fall!
