Saturday Spotlight With Hidden Potential - Time for Trees!!!

I just have to thank all of you who participated in our first ever Saturday Spotlight With Hidden Potential Challenge!  All of the entries were just fabulous and we can't wait to see what this week brings!  This week were are challenging you to make time for trees!  DRS Designs is our sponsor and they have some absolutely fabulous designs!  This time of the year trees start to go through a great transformation and how exciting to share that beauty with them.  Here's my take on Time for Trees:

This gorgeous tree stamp is from DRS Stamps and it's called Summer's End and I have just been taken with it.  I changed it for all the seasons.  Since it's fall, here's my view on fall:

I used Autumn Flower Soft and some yellow stickles to pick up the sun that reflects off the falling leaves.  And now for winter:

I've used White Polar Flower Soft and Frosted Lace stickles to give it a glistening look that comes from snow and ice.  While snow is gorgeous to look at, I'm glad I'm heading away from this season!  And then comes spring:

Spring brings renewed life to the trees as well as us all.  I love that time of the year.  And now summer, that I can stand 365!

How gorgeous is all of the green and the bright colors.  Yes, I know most trees this large don't have pink and deep green flowers in them, but hey, with stamping you can make them whatever you want!

All of the papers are from the Indian Summer stack from DCWV and the crystals and some of the embellishments came from a very sweet, dear friend.  I had the best time working with this tree and believe it or not, these cards went together in less than two hours - all four of them!

Make sure you stop over at our Saturday Spotlight with Hidden Potential Blog and see what my other Design Team buddies have come up with.  I know you won't be disappointed!  So pull out those stamps and make some Time for Trees!  We love seeing what you come up with!

Card Ingredients:

Summer's End by DRS Designs, Indian Summer paper stack from DCWV, Flower Soft, Stickles, ribbon from stash, Rhinestones and Pearls from Michael's, hatpins, various cuttlebug folders, nestabilities
