Roses on Paper Design Team Challenge - Stitches!

Over at Roses on Paper and Belles N' Whistles Challenge Blog, our ever talented Design Team Sister, Rosette, challenged us all to create a card from Roses on Paper using stitches of any kind! I started coming down with a flu bug yesterday so I went with the faux stitches on my sweet little Mimosa with Cupcakes, one the the new, totally sweet Bildmalarnas that Summer is now carrying. I think she's just too stinkin sweet and cute for words!

Here is a picture of this beauty before I added my faux stitching around the border. I colored her with copics and used some paper from my stash (I'm slowly getting rid of my scraps so I don't have to buy so much paper right now before I move!) and the card stock is Coredinations. I added some Glossy Accents and Stickles to her and highlighted her with my white opaque pen. I thought my MS lacy edger would be so pretty with her and give the card a girly feel. Some Prima Flowers, MS branches and spacers and pearls along with a few Dew Drops complete her.

Isn't this face just too adorable? You could just eat her up!

I hope you all will stop by our Roses on Paper/Belles N' Whistle Challenge Blog to see what my ever so talented sisters have worked up and participate in our stitching challenge. And look closely because there's some information about becoming a Guest Designer for Belles N' Whistles there so I'd hate for you to miss out on that opportunity! Great things could happen! We'd love to have you join us for a stint!

Card Ingredients:

Mimosa with Cupcakes by Bildmalarnas, Dew Drops, Stickles, Prima Flowers, Glossy Accents, Jelly Roller White Opaque pen, MS lacy edger and branch punch, spacers, BasicGrey Bling, ribbon

This little girl is adorable--but, there is very few things that come away with these stamps that aren't precious. I have a new grand-daughter, & I envision making all kinds of cards, invitations, etc as she grows.
