Try It Out Tuesday #23 - Sketch
I enjoy rain every now and then but enough is enough! That's how I used to feel until we started camping. We had a great little camper on a beautiful site off of a stunning lake up in the woods in Maine. When I realized I couldn't have a fire because the woods were so dry, I suffered through the rain to be able to enjoy camp in the evenings. But now I don't camp and want my warm weather and the sun!
Our talented Suzanne, our Lead Designer for Susana's Custom Art and Card Design, has given us a great sketch to interpret. I made a slight modification and made my center a rounded rectangle rather than a circle, but I think it keeps the integrity of sketch intact. Since we've had so much rain, this sweet "Singing in the Rain", one of the new Victoria Case for Susana's Custom Art and Card Design just popped into my mind. Don't you love the Susanaments? I haven't put so many words on my cards since I don't know when! I colored her with copics and added some Glossy Accents to her coat for some texture. I cut out an extra umbrella and attached it for a bit of dimension. I love this sweet DaisyD paper and am so sad that they're not producing paper any longer! I added some ribbon, a hatpin and a butterfly charm to finish her off.
Please make sure to stop by Follow Your Heart and see the marvelous cards my Design Team sisters have put together for you! They're fabulous!
