Dare To Be Sassy at Sassy Studio Designs - Stars in My Eyes

I love getting something ready for our Dare To Be Sassy Thursday over at the Sassy Studio Designs blog!  This week our theme is Stars in My Eyes and I thought I'd pull out my Tinkerbell Honey because when I hear stars, I always think of Walt Disney's "When You Wish Upon A Star..." and Tinkerbell comes to mind. I know that songs not from Peter Pan, but it still has always reminded me of Tink!

I made a door hanger for Allie to hand up on her bedroom door knob and love how she came out.  I colored her with copics and added some Stickles to her wings.  The stars and branches are cut out with my cricut and the ribbon is from my stash.  Not very elaborate but I love how she turned out!

I love her sweet face!  I was informed that her hair is too brown but I think it adds to her charm.

I am entering her in the following challenges

The Stamping Chef - Bling
Baffies Kreativladen Challenge - Purple and Green
Divas By Design - Anything Goes
Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge - Favorite color

I hope you all go over to our blog and see what my other designing buddies have come up with.  I know you'll grab all sorts of inspiration!  Make sure to get some stars in your eyes and join in our challenge!

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge Sponsored by Digital Delights

It's time for another great fun challenge over at Tuesday Throwdown and our challenge is to create something with thinking of you.  Could be thinking of your for a happy card, just missing you, a sympathy card, or just because you crossed my mind.  We're being sponsored by Digital Delights and this is Chef Luigi!
Isn't he so much fun?  I love his sweet face and that cake looks way too good!  I made it chocolate, of course, and gave it a little bit of a strawberry glaze on it.  Perfect combination of flavors me thinks!  I used the sketch from Moving Along With The Times and I'm pretty sure it's one I'll use again and again!

He's colored with copics and I added some distressed inks around the image.  This is some of my Graphics 45 paper that I love and have been hoarding.  I hate using that paper because I love just having it! Crazy, isn't that?  The buttons, from Studio 112, have some red Scrapper's Floss through them and the ribbon is from my stash.

I thought the papers were perfect to go with his masterpiece of a cake!

You can see more of the paper on the inside.

Head on over to the Tuesday Throwdown Challenge blog and see what my creating buddies have in store for you.  Digital Delights has some images that are way too cute and I'd love for you to see them and hear all the details on the challenge.  I hope you'll come join us and make something for that someone special to let them know you're thinking of them!

Carrie Princess Thoughtful Breeze for Elisabeth Bell's World Challenge!

It's time for another challenge over at Elisabeth Bell's World Challenge Blog!  Gosh this one was fun!  We had a fabulous sketch to work with and I had a blast with it!

I used Carrie Princess Thoughtful Breeze from Elphine House Austrailia by Elisabeth Bell and I think she's an absolutely stunning cutie pop!  I was in Atlanta this weekend to spend some time with Nichole, Branden, and my sweet Lainie Loo and I put her together while I was waiting for them to arrive and check in!

She's colored with copics and I added stickles to her top, pocket and flowers in her hair.,  The papers are from a My Mind's Eye pack and the pearls, big circle flower behind the image, and flowers are from Recollections.

Here's a close up of her sweet face.  I just love that thoughtful, dreaming look she has in her eyes.  I'd love to know what's weighing on her mind!

Make sure to stop over at the Elisabeth Bell World Challenge Blog and see the fabulous creations my fellow designing buddies have come up with to inspire you.  They're simply stunning!  I really hope you join us and I can't wait to see your take on this fun sketch!

Allie's, I Mean, Pati's Kisses for the Digi Bells

When I saw this adorable digi from Elisabeth Bell's Digital Collection, I knew I had to have her!  She reminds me so much of my granddaughter, Allie.  Her mom has been winning her some stuffed animals out of a machine that she has at her work.  When she bring them home, Allie holds them up and acts like each one of them is the best present she's ever received!  It's my day to post over at The Digi Bells Design Team Blog and this cutie kept coming to my mind.

I colored her with Copics and added a little bit of stickles to her hair tie, bear and shirt.  She also has some Diamond glaze on her headband.  The papers are some older paper from Daisy D papers, the green card stock is from DCWV and the gems are from Cloud 9.  The layout is from the Deconstructed Sketch.  I'm entering her in their challenge.

I  just love her sweet self!

Here's a peek at the inside.

Dare To Be Sassy Thursday at Sassy Studio Designs

Time for another Dare To Be Sassy Thursday for Sassy Studio Designs!  The ever talented Kathy asked us to use stitching (real or faux) on our projects.  Well, I went with the faux since I've had a horrible tooth ache and I used a character that knows a little bit about needles!

Don't you just love a good fairy tale?  I sure do!  One of my favorites is Sleeping Beauty.  Those three fairies are some of my favorite characters, but my favorite villainess has to be Maleficient!  She's just pure evil and full of herself.   I love what Lindsay's done with all of the wicked ladies from all these tales. I always hated her for having princess Aurora prick her finger on a spinning wheel since I love to sew so much!

For the challenge, I chose Maleficient Sassy, which you can find here, and colored her with copics.  I added some Stickles to her dress, glittered candy dots and some silver stars to the corners and a bow with some ribbon from my stash.  The papers are from Memory Makers (I thing) and the Kraft card stock is from Stampin Up.  I used my white Jelly Roller pen to add the stitches.

Isn't she wickedly gorgeous?

Here's a peek from the sides.

I just added a plain box for a sentiment or note to the inside.

I think she's stunning!

I am entering this hottie in the following challenges:

Crafting By Designs - anything goes
Creative Moments - shades of blue
Inky Impressions Challenge - favorite color combination (Mine is blue/brown/white or cream)
Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge - anything goes
Stamp n' Doodle - anything goes
