Gotta love the fun releases that we have with some fabulous images from Lindsay from Sassy Studio Designs! She comes up with some of the greatest and fun images to create! This is the second day of our A Sassy Villians Release and we're celebrating with a fun blog hop! If you came here from my talented sister, Erin's, blog, then you're on the right track. If not, head over to the Sassy Studio Designs blog and start at the beginning. These are absolutely fantastic projects and I don't want you to miss out on a single one of them! Our theme of the blog hop is one or as many of the following favorites of each of the Design Team members from 2012:

Favorite tool to use
Favorite paper
Favorite sketch
Favorite technique
Favorite style
Favorite color
Favorite brand

I've been in South Carolina with my daughter Nichole and my sweet little grandbaby, Lainie Loo Loo and have been having such a hard time with trying to use a new computer and not being able to download anything or print, I still wanted to participate in the blog hop and used one of my favorite images, Little Honey's Princess Aurora Honey. I thought she'd be appropriate in keeping with the theme of the release since Maleficient is in the release and she's my favorite of the Disney Fairy Tales! If you click on the photos, you can see the entire picture.   Sorry about the inconvenience but please hang in there with me until Wednesday, then I'll be back to normal!

   Princess Aurora Honey

Don't you just think she's the cutest thing? She's usually dressed in pink, but I loved her in blues. The papers are from one of my favorite companies, Authentique, and I love to layer and use different papers and patterns. I put lots of Stickles, pearls, and Diamond Glaze, some of my staples for my cards, and added some swirls from Close to My Heart. She's colored with copics (my go-to coloring medium), and I distressed all the different layers. Love the satiny pleated ribbon and just love everything about her!

As for my favorite project I created for Sassy Studio Designs in 2012, I chose my project for the Halloween Release we did and I got to present the Grimm Reaper:

I had so much fun with that project and loved the papers and all the embellishments I got to use. Hope you enjoyed it too!

Now head on over to Regan's blog and see what she has in store for you.  It can be nothing but fabulous!  Thanks for stopping by and happy hopping!

Nurse Heather (Sassy Nurse) for Sassy Studio Designs

I'm not going to apologize anymore because it just sounds lame!  Just going to say that Sassy Studio Designs is sponsoring the challenge for Party Time Tuesday. Their theme is to "Decorate the Envelope". From what I hear from my friends, the flu is going around and I did an envelope or a Get Well card.

SassyNurse Absolutely love this sassy Nurse Heather (Sassy Nurse) and thought she was perfect for an envelope. I colored her with copics and fussy cut her out and layered her on the outside of the envelope. Doesn't she have the most gorgeous face? Photobucket Make sure to stop over at Party Time Tuesday and join in their envelope party! Party on down and check out the details!

Sweet Love for Elisabeth Bell's World

There's just something about Valentine's Day. Whether you're in love or not, you can always find someone who is special enough to make you think sweetly and lovingly of them on February 14th! It's that time over at Elisabeth Bell's World to share a new challenge and some inspiration and how appropriate to work up a vintage valentine! I used "Sweet Love" that Elisabeth designed for Belles n' Whistles and while it's not available, it's still one of my all time favorites of her designs. Hugs and Kisses This sweet couple is colored with copics and I cut out the hearts and distressed the edges of them. The papers are from an old K&Company paper pack. The flowers are from Recollections and I added lots of stickles all over so this sweet couple could shine on their special day! DSCF1734 Make sure to stop over at our blog and see all the fabulous works of art that my designing sisters have come up to share with you all! Make sure to join in. There's always someone valentine worthy!

Effie Trinket Sassy (2) by Sassy Studio Designs

I love the books and movie The Hunger Games.  One of my favorite characters is Effie Trinket because she's so over the top and outlandish!  Gotta love the girl who wants everything so proper and perfect.  The way she dresses just so chic and stylish.

Sassy Studio Designs is sponsoring the challenge over at C.R.A.F.T. and the challenge is a color challlenge:

I chose to use Effie Trinket Sassy (2) because she can carry anything off!  I love the blue n her har and the lipstick!  She's really such a stylish icon!

Here's a couple of views of the side.

I love this paper from Authentique and wanted it to compliment her rather than take away from the image.

The blues are fabulous and such a perfect color for any season!  While I love everything about Christmas, it's a nice break from all the reds and greens, don't you think?  Come on over to C.R.A.F.T. and join in on their color challenge.

Fairy Faye Make a Wish by Elisabeth Bell for Elphine House Australia

It's a gorgeous day here and I just finished washing off half of the pool deck.  Life is pretty good right now!  It's time for another challenge over at Elphine House Australia Design Team Challenge Blog and our oh so fabulous leader, Lynda, challenged us to use doilies.  When I saw this precious little fairy, Fairy Faye Make A Wish, I totally fell in love with her!  You can find her here.

She's all colored up and just looking so precious!  Wouldn't you love to see this little dandelion fairy in your back yard?

Here's a peek of the inside.  I loved this paper underneath the doily and loved how it shows through the middle of the doily.  Call me crazy, but I liked it!

Love the pink flowers!

And Judy, I kind of cased the inside from you.  I like how it came out!

I'm giving her to Lainie Loo for her first birthday.  We're celebrating her this weekend and I can't wait to see that little slip of a baby!

Hope everyone has a fabulous day and skip on over to the Elphine House Australia Design Team Challenge Blog and use  up some of those paper doilies you know you've got laying around someplace!
