Some Day My Prince Will Come

Since my holidays were filled with magic and lots of hopes for things to come, I thought I'd share my fascination and love of fairy tales.  It's my day to post over at The Digi Bells Design Team Blog and I chose this beauty.  She's My Prince from the uber talented Miss Elisabeth Bell, I always believe that fairy tales can come true and that frog will suddenly turn into My Prince!

Isn't she just gorgeous?  I love her hearts and candy and how absolutely delighted she seems to have found her heart's desire!

Hope you all find your Prince Charming!

Little Honey's Little Red Riding Hood Honey

It's been forever since I've posted but I've been busy!  I had a wonderful but busy holiday season filled with family, friends at work, work, and moving.  There was great food, time with the people I love and the magic of the season.  Although it was jam packed full, I wouldn't have traded it for the world.

I've missed posting and crafting so I'm getting back on board with that.  Today Sassy Studio Designs is sponsoring the challenge over at Crafting When We Can.  The challenge is to use your favorite things!  It could be your favorite image, color, technique, embellishment, whatever is your favorite.  It also is Try Something New over at Scrappy Frog's Challenge Blog.  I tried a couple of new things - working with flowers and adding some texture to them and stamping with a partner!  Here's what I chose:

I used Little Honey's Little Red Riding Hood Honey because she's one of my favorite images and Fairy Tales!  I love the show Once Upon a Time and the gal who plays Red is one of my favorite characters.  Love that show and can't wait to watch it tonight!

I colored Red with copics and Spectrum Noir markers and used some older Basis Grey papers.n  I added some stickles to her cloak and the buttons and baker's twine are from Close to My Heart and I made the flowers with my cricuit cartridge and Nestabilities.

Here is this beauty close up.  This image is exactly how I always pictured her, all bright eyed and beautiful!

I will confess that I had some help making her and here's my Allie showing off her treasure.  It tool a little longer to finish her but it was time well spent!  Hope you enjoy her and head on over to Crafting When You Can and join in and show us your favorite things and at Scrappy Frog's Challenge Blog and show us what you've tried that's new!  !

Last Minute Deliveries!

I think we all have some type of last minute deliveries that we make around the holidays.  I know I've got a couple to still drop off and if you believe the weather forecasters, I'll be doing it in snow, just like my sweet Evania in this adorable Evania Door Bell Chimes from Elphine House Australia!  Our talented and fabulous leader for the Elphine House Australia Design Team, Lynda, gave us a theme of Swirled Snow over at our Elphine House Australia Challenge Blog and here's what I came up with.

What a cutie she is!  She's colored with copics and Spectrum Noir markers and has Stickles on her cap, skirt and socks.  Flower Soft in Polar White is added to the ground, tree, sky, and snowflakes, that were cut out with my Martha Stewart snowflake punches.

Doesn't she have the cutest face?  She looks so determined to reach that door bell!

I used Nestabilities to cuther out and for the inside.  The pearls in the corners and on the edge are from Studio 112.

The twill ribbon is from Close to My Heart.  I love it!

I decided to add some snowflakes to the inside.

Please make sure to stop over at our Elphine House Australia Challenge Blog and see all the other fabulous projects my designing buddies have in worked up to inspire you.  Let's see your swirled snow!

Ebony Christmas Snowflakes for Elisabeth Bell's World!

Merry Christmas everyone!  It's a big day today and not only is it Christmas, it's the 25th of the month and that means it's time for a new challenge over at Elisabeth Bell's World Challenge Blog.  This month, our ever talented leader and new momma, Lynda, challenged us to use fluffy snowflakes, and of course an Elisabeth Bell designed image.  I love this little sweetie, Ebony Christmas Snowflakes from Elphine House Australia.  Hope you enjoy her!

What a doll she is!  This cutie is colored with copics and Spectrum Noir markers and accented with Stickles all over and on the extra snowflakes.  The die around her and the snowflakes are from Spellvinders and the ribbon is from Close to My Heart.  The papers are from My Mind's Eye  and the pearls are from Studio 112.

Here's a couple of other views of her, especially this sweet closeup:

I think she's absolutely gorgeous!

You have an entire month to play along so let me see some snowflakes!  Share them with us over at Elisabeth Bell's World and you'll absolutely love what's in store for the winner!  Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all get to spend some quality time with your loved ones.

Little Honey's Holiday Belle

When I've been asked what I would love to collect, it's always been something Disney. I love everything about them from Mickey Mouse, to Tinkerbell (my personal favorite!), to the Princesses.  When I saw this Little Honey's Holiday Belle image from Sassy Studio Designs, I had to have her!  She was my Tiffany's favorite movie and it's my granddaughter, Allie's, favorite too!  Wish I had a nickle for everytime I watch or listened to Beauty and the Beast!

Today, Sassy Studio Designs is sponsoring a couple of challenges, Challenges 4 Everybody, where it's Anything Goes, and Glitter n Sparkle Challenge Blog, where the theme is Christmas/New Year's.  I thought this sweet Little Honey's Holiday Belle would be perfect for both!

Isn't she just a doll?  I think she looks like her own perfect ornament on a Christmas tree.  She's colored with copics and has Stickles all over her bow and flowers and cuffs.  The papers are from K&Company's gorgeous Christmas stack and the red glitter corners and swirls are from Spellbinders's and the gem and ribbon are from my stash.

Gosh, I love her sweet face!  Here's a couple of side views for you to give you a peek on what's inside.

And Judy, here's an inside.  I just am in love with this paper!

That's it for today.  I hope everyone has a great last day of the weekend and is relaxing and putting the finishing touches on the holiday preparations.  Make sure to go on over and join in on the two challenge blogs and show them some love!
