Lilac cookies

My friend, Jane, loves purple. Everything she has is purple. This adorable background paper reminded me of her so I had to make a card that suited her. Tilda Baking Cookies from Magnolias stamps is the sweetest little thing. And who can resist someone who wants to bake cookies for you? Not me! In fact, Nichole made some brownies and I'm really in heaven!

Tilda is colored with Prismacolor pencils and blended with OMS that I picked up at Wal-mart. They're inexpensive and do a great job! the background paper is from DCWV and the flowers are Prima. The black border around her is from the Hocus Pocus core-dinations paper. It's black on the outside and when you sand the black off and distress it, it's another color on the inside! Way cool! I also used Pearl-ex on the background and when the light hits the card, the area around Tilda has a lavender sheen to it.

Well, I'm off tonight to see Les Miserables at a local music theater. I've not been in ages and am so excited about it. While I'm gone, let Tilda treat you to some cookies! Enjoy. I hear their delish!

Cannot be beat with the ocean breeze and the crashing of the waves. This card is beautiful. Your pigtail girl is sooo cute. That background paper is to die for. Love Love Love Lilac Tilda!
